Beloved mother to Janie Hill, Gary Langworthy, and Rachel Barreiros, and mother-in-law to Greg Hill and Tony Barreiros. She was a loving grandmother and grandmother-in-law to Brandon and Ashley Hill, Ashley and Kasey Schneider, Lindsey and Sterling Sasser, Courtney and Khalid Alhareth, Briana Barreiros, and Brittany and Grant Derrick. Her loving memory will be passed on to her great grandchildren Harris and Denton Hill, Hadlee Schneider, and Perry Jane and August Sasser.
Predeceased by her parents Grady and Nellie Riddle, her husband, Charles Langworthy, and siblings Charles, Auvery, and Hugh Riddle, but survived by siblings Hayes, Dot, Nadine, Clayton, and Casey Riddle.
Pauline was born in Weaverville, North Carolina and moved to Melbourne, Florida in 1959. Pauline married her husband, Charles Langworthy, in Melbourne in 1960, where she raised their three children Janie, Gary, and Rachel. She was an expert cake decorator and was famous for her towering, elaborate wedding cakes. She also made many detailed and dream-come-true birthday and holiday cakes for each of her kids and grandkids.
She was a devoted Christian, strong in her faith, and is now strong of body and mind at home with the Lord.
Family and friends will be received at Florida Memorial Gardens Life Event Center (5950 US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955) on July 6, 2024. Viewing service is from 10 to 11AM, with funeral service at 11AM, and burial service to follow graveside. A reception will follow the burial service at the home of Rachel and Tony Barreiros in Malabar. Any flowers and gifts may be sent directly to Florida Memorial Gardens using Pauline's name.
