Jean H. Hoff

Jean H Hoff, 82, passed away at Holmes Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, April 27 2022, from complications following a brain aneurysm and stroke. She was surrounded by family and loved ones at the time of her passing.

She was a loving wife and mother, and is survived by her husband Gerald (Jerry), her sons Jay, Jon, and Jan, and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Anthony.

Being a military wife, she was used to packing up every few years, and getting settled in a new location, a job she handled very well. Since her husband was an Air Force pilot, she often times found herself alone, raising her three sons, while Jerry was serving in various overseas assignments, another job she handled extremely well. She worked at Carnival Cruise Line at Port Canaveral for over ten years as a check-in representative.

Her hobbies included competitive roller figure skating, ballroom dancing, reading, listening to jazz music, and enjoying TV game shows. She also loved nature and animals. As a skater, she and her sons competed in various local and regional competitions while living in California and Florida. Her favorite jazz venue was Heidi’s Jazz Club in Cocoa Beach, where she enjoyed listening to Jerry play the clarinet. As a long time breast cancer survivor, Jean wanted donations made to the American Cancer Society In lieu of flowers.
