Francesca Gullo

She is survived by her three children Leonard Gullo, Margaret Ducksbury, and Rosalia Fillbrunn, as well as two of her siblings, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is predeceased in death by her husband of 57 years, Calogero Gullo, and seven brothers and sisters.

She was born in Partanna, Sicily and came to the United States through Ellis Island in 1950. She and her husband then made a home in Brooklyn, NY, where she worked as a seamstress and was a member of the International Garment Workers Union. In Brooklyn, they had three children before moving to Shirley, NY on Long Island. During this time, Francesca became one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. In 1991 she moved to Palm Bay, Florida where she joined and remained a faithful member of the South Palm Bay Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses until her death.

She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved to cook and feed her family and friends. She enjoyed opera, fishing and being outdoors.

Friends and Family will be received at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial located at 5950 South US Hwy 1, Rockledge, FL 32955, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 10:00AM. The burial will follow at 11:00AM at the same location.
