Jimmie “Jim” Dale Lamb, 79, of Rockford, IL, passed away, Wednesday evening, December 22, 2021 after a short illness. He was born February 2, 1942 in Newark, AR, the son of John O. and Eunice (Bradley) Lamb. He was married to Barbara Hendricks. Jim worked as a carpenter until a work injury at the age of 32. He was a very strong willed man who enjoyed watching westerns.
Jim is loved and missed by his daughter, Aletha (DG) Sila, son-in-law, Dustin Toney; grandchildren, Makayla Toney, Dakota Toney and Tayden Toney, Jennifer Sila, Jamie Monahan, Jake Sila, Jessica Sila and Jodi Sila, ; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth (Dave) and Mary (LeRoy); brother, Bonnie as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara; children, Robert Lamb, Terri Toney and Christopher Lamb; as well as numerous siblings.
Per Jimmie’s wishes, no services will be held. Cremation rites will take place.
