Gary R. Swenson, 54, died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 of cancer. Born January 10, 1961 in Rockford to Robert W. and Ila (Perkins) Swenson. Gary worked as an assembler at Chrysler. He enjoyed wathching sports on T.V. Gary, along with his companion and friend of 23, years, Susan Drake and their daughter Nicole Swenson, enjoyed spending vacation time in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, creating wonderful family memories together. Gary was a loving father to his daughter Nicole.
