Denise Marie Martinez

Denise M. Martinez, 39, of Rockford, IL, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, December 2, 2019. She was born April 25, 1980 in Harvard, IL, the daughter of Mario and Mary (Rich) Martinez. Denise worked as an assembler at Bergstrom. Denise was fun loving, always up beat, self conscious of her appearance, nurturing, and generous. She enjoyed collecting dragonflies, playing cards and had a love for dogs.

Denise is loved and missed by her father, Mario (Diana Smith) Martinez; her nephew, C.J.; uncles, Jesse Martinez, Mike Martinez and Bill Rich; aunts, Alicia Cruz, and Cheryl Rich; cousins, Jessica, Genaro, Greg, Ryan, and Michael. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; sister, Rita, her grandparents, and her uncle, Albert Martinez.
