He was born on January 25, 1987 in Rockford, Illinois to Jeffrey Dickson and Sue Randerson.
He attended Auburn High School.
Alan was an avid fisherman and his last job was working as a salesperson at a Bass Pro Shop in Florida.
Alan is survived by his parents and his paternal grandparents, Laverne and Mary Dickson; maternal grandparents, Richard and Carmen Randerson; his brothers Jake Dickson, Evan Dickson and a sister Stacy Dunbar. He is also survived by Aunts Jennett Kinder, Beverly Hernandez, Nancy D’Angelo, Linda Engstrom , Barb Rosendahl ,Dawn Hasse and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Aunt Cindy Rothenbuehler.
A memorial service will be held 11am, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Advantage Funeral Home, 7000 West State Street , Rockford Illinois.
