She married Robert R. Schmook in 1962, who preceded her in death in 1967. She married Arthur E. Pearson in 1969, and he preceded her in death in 2004.
Georgia was a homemaker for all of her life, but did occasionally work outside the home providing a little variety in her life. During her child rearing years, in addition to raising her own children, she also looked after many of the neighborhood kids during the day when their parents were working.
Georgia enjoyed cooking and baking. In her younger years she did a thriving business in baking wedding and celebratory cakes. She loved crocheting, which was her main hobby in her later years, crocheting many afghans for those she loved. Another passion was collecting penguin related items. Family and faith were very important to her. She loved the time spent with her children and grandchildren, and had an abiding faith in God.
Survivors (and spouses) include her children, Lanny (Erika) Adamson, Jeffery (Joan) Adamson, Cheryl Ruby, and Westley (Lisa) Schmook ; stepchildren, Judy (Jim) Kelly and Steve (Soon) Pearson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sisters, Wanda Adamson, Patricia Banks, and Bonnie Phillips.
