He worked in the steel industry since he was 20 years old, starting as a millwright at J&L Steel and finally retired from Col-fin Specialty Steel. Dad had a smile that could light up a room and make you feel you were the most cherished person in the world. He spent his life traveling to faraway places from Rome to Niagara Falls, relishing the time with those he loved and a cold beer.
He is survived by three daughters, Darla who lives with her husband David Earnest in Debary, FL, Lori who lives with her husband Philip Hotchkiss in Canton, GA, and Luanne Narvett who lives in Shippensburg, PA, two grandchildren, Danielle McMann and Devan Earnest, and a sassy little grand-daughter, Layla McMann, his brother, Thomas Narvett of New Brighton. Dad also leaves behind his loving and adventure seeking wife, Cynthia Pasquale and her three children Meagan, Jennalynn, and Ryan Kozora. The family feels amazingly blessed that Cindy filled his last ten years with adventures and laughter, and made sure he went to bed and woke up every morning with a full heart.
He is most remembered for teaching his girls how to play softball, drive a car poorly, finding happiness in the little things, and to lead life with a forgiving heart. He is infamous for dancing on chairs in Cancun, not using sunscreen and regretting it, and mistakenly driving over the Canadian border with a gun (not recommended). Although we sadly have to say “farewell, for now, we will miss you desperately”, we are confident that he has been well received by his beloved family that has gone before him and into the forever gracious arms of his Lord and Savior.
Louis was preceded in death by his parents Alexander Joseph and Frances (Eaglowski) Narvett, his siblings; Genevieve, George, Casimer, and Alexander Narvett.
Friends and family are invited to the Saul-Gabauer Funeral Home 273 Rt. 68 Rochester, PA 15074 on Friday November 3, 2023 at 1:00 PM to a life celebration service for Louis.
