She was born April 27, 1945 in Woodsfield, OH, daughter of the late Lester F. Kenney and Elizabeth (Weddle) Kenney of Cranberry Township. Jean was a Licensed Practical Nurse and early in her career was employed through the Visiting Nurses Association. Most important to her was the love she had for her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Jean enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends. She also enjoyed crafting, crocheting and traveling. She was a member of Christ Alliance Church, Aliquippa.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years: Glenn Allen Dove; one son and daughter-in-law: Kenneth “Buzz” (Lorrie) Nelson, II of Sarver; one daughter and son-in-law: Kristin (Joshua) Radovich of Sarver; three grandchildren: Kristian, Neva and Levi; two step-daughters: Jean Nolan of Industry; Renee (Jim) Irvin of New Brighton; as well as step-grandchildren and a step-great granddaughter; one brother and sister-in-law: Paul (Helen) Kenney, Woodsfield, OH; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Diane (Bo) Bennett, Harlingen, TX; Debbi (Wayne) Albright, Aliquippa; Cindi (Ron) Janicki, Economy Borough.
Friends will be received today from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday, February 25, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Palmer Zerbe, officiating. Private interment will follow in the Garden of Devotion at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Inc.
