David M. "Hos" Hostutler, age 59, of New Brighton, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Heritage Valley Beaver. Born September 11, 1964, in Rochester, he was the son of the late Gerald and Edith (Porter) Hostutler. Hos was a butcher at Giant Eagle in Chippewa Township, he was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, and loved being out riding his Harley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister; Tracy (Hostutler) Chufe.
He is survived by two daughters; Mindy Lambert, Ashley (Brian) Coen; one son, David Hostutler; three grandchildren; Dash, Haddie and Ember; and three brothers; Dan (Cindy), Robbie (Jo), and Rick (Barb) Hostutler. Also surviving is a brother in law; Frank Chufe, as well as many nieces and nephews.
As per David's wishes, all services were private and entrusted to the SAUL-GABAUER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 273 Route 68, Rochester (adjacent to the Sylvania Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum). The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sam, Derek and Ryan, and to the ICU staff at Heritage Valley Beaver for their tremendous care and support in Hos's final days.
