Michael J. Schwartz

He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Linda Schwartz; children, Lisa (Robert) VanWinkle, Michael (Alicia) Schwartz, Jr., and Elizabeth (David) Gigliotti; grandchildren, Rachel, Sophia and Olivia; brother, James (Ilse) Schwartz, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Florence Schwartz; brothers, Paul and Louis Schwartz, and sister, Marguerite Goodfriend.

Michael had a successful career, retiring from the Eastman Kodak Company and Johnson & Johnson.

He was a Vietnam veteran and was actively involved in the American Legion Ferris Goodridge Post 330 in Spencerport, NY. Michael was an avid hunter and fisherman, but above all else he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, November 18th, at St. Pius X Church, 3010 Chili Ave., Rochester, NY 14624. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery with Military Honors. Arrangements entrusted to Alvah Halloran & Son Funeral Home.
