He was predeceased by his beloved wife of almost 44 years, Barbara Shiro, and his parents, Margaret and Marvin L. Shiro.
He is survived by his brothers, Marti (Barbara) Shiro and M. Lewis (Andrew) Shiro, his sister, Marci (Wayne) Boswell, brother-in-law, John Perry; nephews: Benjamin and Christopher Shiro, and Nathan, Tim, and Tyler Boswell; and several great nieces and great nephews.
After graduating from Fairport High School, Marc enlisted in the U.S. Army.
Marc had a great passion for vans, owning and customizing several over the years. He greatly enjoyed vanning, the vanning community, and going on camping trips in his van with Barbara. During those trips, they would meet and make many new friends along the way.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
There will be no public funeral services at this time.
