Doreen A. DeSantis

She was predeceased by her parents, Marie Scheck and Donald DeSantis, sister, Jeanine Hampton, and sons, Ricky DeSantis and Thomas McCrea, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Anderson; grandchildren, Giovanni, Antonio, Aniyalíse, and Rickiya; great-granddaughter, Aaliyah; sisters: Marlene Zazzara, Donna Jacques, and Cheryl Biehler; brother, John Hampton; step-mother, Doris DeSantis; many nieces and nephews; special friend, DeWitt Brown; and her fur babies, Mischief and Misty.

Doreen was proud to be a nurse, working as an LPN for Rochester Regional Health and Elderwood of Greece. She loved to cook and loved shopping, but above all else, her family was the most important thing in her world. She will always be remembered for her compassionate nature and for being an excellent caregiver.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 10th, from 5-8PM at the Funeral Home of Alvah Halloran & Son, 2125 Chili Ave. Rochester, NY 14624. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11th at 11:00AM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Westside Cemetery.
