Sarah M. Logan

LOGAN, Sarah M., age 82 former longtime resident of Rochester, died May 9, 2015 in Telford, PA. Sarah was born on July 4, 1932 in Detroit. A graduate of Rochester High School, Sarah married Charles F. Logan, Jr. on December 8, 1951. She had worked for the Rochester School District as an administrative Assistant and was a member of Five Points Community Church. She had a passion for distributing Gideon Bibles as well as knitting babies clothes and traveling. She is survived by her children Linda M. Porterfield, Charles F. Logan, III, and Caryl A. Kuhn; grandchildren Ann Arnold, Sarah Porterfield, Tim Porterfield, Becca Long, Chase Logan, Mason Logan, Terner Logan, Jeremy Slone, and Evan Slone. Also survived by brothers Morris C. Place, Jr. and Bruce Place and a sister, Helen Nicol. A memorial service will be held 12 noon, Friday, May 22, 2015 at the Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester.
