SCHELL, Ruth M., age 94, of Rochester, passed away February 7, 2017. She was born in Marlette, Michigan on January 11, 1923. She graduated from Marlette High School. Ruth was married to Colon Schell and she was preceded in death by her loving companion of many years, Stanly Fudalla. She was a member of the Eagles and had a passion for sewing, gardening and her Detroit Tigers. Ruth is survived by her children Andrea (Dave) Albertson, Michael (Karen) Schell, Lori (Glen) Prater, and Mary (Michael) Tassiello; her grandchildren Jill, Amy, Paul, Michelle, Diana, Brieane, Adam, and Alyssa; her 7 great-grandchildren; and her loving nieces and friends. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 3-9 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI. A Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 10, 2017 at 11 AM at Christian Memorial Cemetery, 521 E. Hamlin Rd., Rochester Hills, MI. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Michigan or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
