I became aware of Lisa's passing today. I am very sorry it took all these years and a random call from a friend I hadn't heard from in some thirty years. 

Lisa was my girlfriend through her college  years and for a while afterwards.  We stayed friends for a bit afterwards but eventually moved into different lives far away from each other. 

Lisa was always a warm, energetic, fun loving, woman, but she could also show great depth of character.  In particular I remember the way she returned to Windsor from her budding career in the fashion industry in Montreal to care for her ill  Mum in her Mum's last years.  Her willingness to sacrifice for those she loved demonstrated vividly her sense of loyalty and her trait of selflessness that marked he as a person of particular value and distinction.

I mourn greatly her passing, and convey my very belated heartfelt condolences to all her family.

Lisa and I worked together in Windsor, Canada and I was blessed to call her my friend. I remember your beautiful wedding and how happy you both were. Although we had not seen each other for a number of years I never forgot her and her wonderful smile and very endearing laugh! All she ever talked about was how much she wanted to marry the love of her life and be a good wife and Mother and that she certainly accomplished. God Bless you, her children and all of her family and friends as you journey through the loss of your beautiful  Lisa.

Lisa was the best friend anyone could ever ask for. She was my best friend and like a sister to me for 44 years. I will always cherish all the wonderful memories and times we shared together. I learned so much from her through the years. She was a fabulous person, wife, mother and friend. I am so fortunate to have had her be such an integral part of my life all these years. She will be missed more than she could ever imagine and she will always be in my heart.

I have so many fond memories of Lisa. She was a wonderful friend who was always there for her family and friends. I will never forget how she was there for me during the most difficult times of my life, my parents deaths. I will miss her beautiful smile, her laugh and the conversations we use to have. I am sooo saddened by this terrible news. My deepest condolences to the entire family. I will always love my best cousin Lisa forever! She had the biggest heart and will be so deeply missed! Who will I talk to on the phone for now for an hour and a half. We talked about the children and all the family vacations. I will truly miss her!  <3  <3  <3
