Suzie:  I wrote a message to you the minute I heard about Ken but something happened and only your name appeared.  I am heart broken losing Ken.  He was always so willing to work on the Southeastern Reunion Committees throughout the years.  The entire committee will miss him.  I can't stop thinking about him.  I was unable to be with you for those two days, we were out of town, but I hope the flowers and those who were able to attend showed how much we loved him.

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Ken will be missed by all of the water class folks.  I myself will miss his huge smile and witty quips that kept me on my toes.  Prayers for you and yours.

The City Council and Staff of the City of Auburn Hills are deeply saddened by the passing of Ken.  Ken served the City for years with distinction, as Chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals.  He was an outstanding citizen and we will miss his leadership, wisdom, and the contributions he made to the quality of life for everyone in Auburn Hills.

Sue - We are so sorry to learn of your loss.  You and Ken were such a big part of our kids growing up and learning to play music.  I can still see him standing by the church door greeting everyone.  Our sincere sympathy, the OGawa family.

What a sad loss for the communities of Auburn Hills & Avondale schools.  I had nothing but respect for Ken and his willingness to serve whenever asked.  My deepest sympathies to his family and the extended community.

Over my many years, I have noticed how we all too often think of people based on their day-to-day little foibles and idiosyncrasies.  It isn't until they pass on that we stop to appreciate the broader person, and their significant contributions to those they have touched.  

Ken made a significant impact on his family, his church and the communities of Detroit, Auburn Hills and Avondale Schools.  He was concerned and found ways to help.

I knew him as a loving husband to Suzie, a father to Tony, Holly, and Jeremy, and grandpa to a growing number of big and little ones.  He cared about us all and he always tried to be helpful by sharing his insights.  

It's ironic that in the end, Ken's physical heart gave out.  Throughout his life, his figurative heart seemed "gianormous" as grandson David would say.

Ken was faithful to God and literally gave voice to his religion.  How exhilarating it must be for him to be able to sing with Angels and Archangels and all the Company of Heaven. 

We miss him already, and we will continue to miss him.  But, on the bright side, we have every reason to believe he is walking happily with Jesus.  And, I wouldn't be surprised if Ken is busy reviewing God's Master Plan in case there are risks He might have overlooked.

Rest in peace friend.

Although we never lived close enough to spend much time together, I was especially close to Ken because we were first cousins and Ken was born just 3 months after I was born. I am sorry that Ken is no longer here on earth.

I am sending my deepest condolences to the entire family.  I will pray for strength in this difficult time.
