Beverly was born the daughter of Marshall and Vena (McLean) Cliff in Detroit, Michigan on December 2, 1936. Beverly was raised in Applegate and graduated from Owosso Bible College, class of 1954. She married John Preston and worked for Michigan Bell for many years.
Beverly loved her friends and neighbors. She treated them with such love, as if they were her own children. She loved her church family as well. Beverly enjoyed gardening and taking care of her four-acre lawn.
Beverly was predeceased by her husband John. She is survived by her brother William (Delores) Cliff; many nieces and nephews; special neighbors, Shari Crowell, Mitchell, and Michael Romeyn; and many dear friends, including Shirley Holt.
There will be a visitation for Beverly on Monday August 28th, 2023 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at Noon at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 West University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan. Interment will be private at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made in Beverly’s honor to the First Rochester Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at Pixley Funeral Home.
