Jesse was raised in the Belton area and graduated from Belton High School. He went on to proudly and bravely serve his country for four years in the United States Army. After being Honorably Discharged, he worked for the Corpus Christi Army Depot in the Naval Yard until his eventual retirement. During his time working for CCAD, he met his beloved wife Maria Rodriguez on New Year’s Day. They were married on for 35 years.
Above all, Jesse was known to be a kind and caring man. He took care of everyone he loved and would never hesitate to help a stranger. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Jesse is reunited with his parents, Narciso Rodriguez and Adela Rodriguez; and siblings Narcisco Rodriguez Jr. and Estella Navarrette. He leaves his warm memories to his wife, Maria Rodriguez; children, Chris Rodriguez and Nicole Rodriguez; siblings, Mary Gutierrez, Janie Asher, Joe Rodriguez, and Tomaz Rodriguez; nine dogs; three goats; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The Rodriguez family has decided to honor Jesse’s wish of cremation. There are no services being held for him at this time.
