Born in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 9, 1968, she is the daughter of Richard “Mike” and Leigh Ann Thompson. She graduated from UNLV with a degree in Early Education and furthered her education with a Masters in Special Education and a second in Leadership. She spent 26 years following her passion as a leader and an educator while serving the children in her community.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is sealed to her family for time and all eternity. She enjoyed sports, the ocean, watching her grandchildren play, and spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her abundance of love and the impact she had on countless children.
She is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother, Kenneth Thompson.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Allen; children, Ashton and Cody Stanworth, Craig, and Blake Evans, Deanna Evans, who she considered a daughter; grandchildren, Carter, Walker, and Tucker Stanworth, Weston Bloomgren who she considered a grandson; brother, Jim Thompson; and her nieces and nephews.
A funeral service is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 5017 W Grand View Peak Dr in Riverton, Utah, where friends may visit with the family from 10:00am to 11:45am prior to the service. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park South Valley.
