Roland Lars Hooker

RON HOOKER Ron was born 07/20/1934 in Bemidji, MN and passed away peacefully in his sleep 07/29/2010 in Merced, CA of a heart attack. He retired form Rohr Industries 1/1990 where he worked in various capacities for 33 years, most recently as a Facilities Specialist. After his retirement he worked part-time as an electrician for Grounds Electric. Ron enjoyed golf, travel, playing cards, his family and friends and Thursday morning breakfast meeting with other Rohr retirees. Ron is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Marlene; son, Greg (Cyndy) of Riverside, grandsons, Brian Primmer (Addy) of Louisiana, Brandon and Travis Hooker of Moreno Valley and two great-grandsons. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Pat Lambert of Riverside and Carole Lambert (Bob) of Arizona and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughter, Linda Rader and son-in-law Larry Rader. A celebration of life will be held at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Chapel on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 10am.
