Rey Thomas Jordan passed away on September 18, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. He passed away peacefully in his sleep.
Rey was born on January 6, 1954 in Brooklyn, NY to Carmen Del Valle and Luis Jordan. He grew up in New York, Puerto Rico, and Chicago, Illinois with a strong affection for his Puerto Rican culture and his people.
Rey enjoyed dancing salsa, playing dominoes, and spending time with his friends and family. He had such a passion for life and loved to make people laugh. He had an infectious laugh that would make others laugh along with him.
Rey is survived by his loving wife of 47 years and best friend, Mary Jordan, their children: Ray Jordan, Evette Roberson, and Evelyn Jordan, their grandchildren: Alexis, Juliette, Eilan, Eris, Elijah, and one on the way.
He is also survived by his brother, Luis "Papo" Jordan and his sisters Zonia Jordan, Diana Jordan-Del Valle, and Cristina Jordan and their families.
He has been reunited with his son, Orlando Jordan, his mother, Carmen Del Valle, his father, Luis Jordan, and his sister, Lizzie Jordan.
He will be laid to rest in Atlantic Garden Veterans Cemetary in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on Monday, October 1, 2018.
