To my dear friend, Pennie…..❤️


I was a 15 year old girl when I met you, Vern and all the kids.  I used to view you as my older sister, and I viewed the kids as my younger siblings.  Thank you, for welcoming me into your family.  I loved hanging out at your house.  It provided a comfort for me that I didn’t have in my own home.  Your house was fun.  Being around you was fun. It was during those times I developed a sense of humor.  You told jokes, however inappropriate🤣, you used bad language and laughed about it.  You were as real as they come.  I am thankful I have the memories, but I regret that time passed us by and we lost touch.  You will always be in my heart.  I will never boil eggs again without thinking of you and you telling me how to get them perfect ~Every. Single. Time.  It always has amazed me that you read cookbooks for entertainment!  I wish I would have paid more attention.  

Rest In Peace, my friend.  Until we meet again, I’ll be loving you.

Thank you grandma for everything you have done for me and taught me. I will forever cherish the fun times and the long talks we had. You always knew what to say and when to say it. You’re cooking and baking was second to none (especially my personal favorite cinnamon rolls). You had such a good sense of humor and your young spirit would light up any room. I’ll forever love and miss you grandma. 

I lost a piece of my heart the day you gained your wings. 💓 The heartache is unbearable. 💔 I miss everything about you. Our lives will never be the same. The love I have for you is like no other. You were truly the heart and soul of our family. I know you have your toes in the sand watching the sunrise and sunset everyday now 🥰  you have the best view of us all.  You were my best friend, my rock, my therapist, my confidant ..that bond will never break! I am and always will be your #1 (even though I know you told us all we were your #1 😉 )  I want you not to worry about any of us. We will be taking care of Dad and Charlie 💞 We’ll take it from here Mom !! Until we meet again. I am not afraid.

I’m so lucky to have had you as my Mom. I could talk to you about anything. You taught me so much about life. You were always so cool , pretty and strong willed … no one could mess with you and I’ve always admired that. You always said you were “copying” me on things when we were shopping but little did you know it was me trying to be like YOU… I can only hope to be half the woman you were. Thanks for teaching me all I know about cooking and love and everything in between. So many things in my everyday life are a reminder of you. I’ll miss you calling me a bimbo 😏 You were my best friend and the best Mom ever 🤍 Thank you for fighting so hard. Don’t worry about Dad, I’m keeping a close eye on him and we will take care of him 🤍 I’ll see you on the other side some day. Love your baby, Angela

I miss you already Grandma. Vegas trips are going to be very boring without you. You were the best Grandma ever. I Love You☺️

I've thought of Pennie many times over the years. She was quick witted and made the day lighter- a good person and friend, but don't piss her off.  I am saddened by your passing Pennie, I will miss you forever.  To Vernell her beloved, Bridget, Melissa, Booie, Angela, grandchildren and the family, may heartfelt condolences. The memory pictures are very special and speak volumes about Pennie's (and Vern's)  life and family. Thank you family for her  beautiful memories.
