Patricia Elaine Moss

Patricia was born on May 18, 1937 in Long Beach, CA to parents William Hugh Corrao & Mary Louise (Toler) (Corrao) (Smith).

Patricia attended college in Pasadena, CA. She was employed by Pinkerton Security(undercover operations), and was a bookkeeper for the family business at Automatic Heating and Air Conditioning for more than 20 years.

Patricia married her soul mate, Arthur Moss Jr, on May 14, 1960 and they were married 61 years at the time of her death and lived in Apple Valley, CA. She is the beloved wife to Arthur E. Moss Jr., devoted daughter, mother, “Nana”, sister, Aunt, and cousin.

She loved to travel to exotic locations such as Hawaii, Rome, Pompeii, Washington DC. The trip to Washington D.C. was an all-expense paid trip hosted by Chickasaw Nation and was especially memorable. She and Art were known to be the last ones coming back on the bus, and when they got on the bus, the group would give them a round of applause! She especially treasured vacations with the grandchildren in their motorhome to Rincon beach. She also loved to sit out at the beach and watch the waves coming in and out.

Patricia loved family connections and keeping track of family genealogy. She enjoyed reading books, feeding the hummingbirds, spending time with her family, including grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved babies. She loved family traditions and creating family traditions (pickle in the Christmas tree). She had a keen sense of decorating to the tiniest detail, and loved to host family gatherings. She always made everyone feel welcomed and special, like part of the family. had a special love for children and had the kindest nature that will truly be missed.

Patricia is survived by her loving, devoted husband and primary caregiver, Arthur E. Moss, Jr., Apple Valley, CA. Other surviving family members are: Step-daughter and husband: Tanya (Moss) & Rodney Ison, Hesperia, CA; Son and wife: Arthur Moss III (deceased) & Lisa (Eichenlaub) Moss, Apple Valley, CA ; Daughter and husband: Robin (Moss) & Jim Gorman, Hesperia, CA. Five Grandchildren: Nicole (Moss) & Rex Bloomsness, Apple Valley, CA; Arthur (AJ) Moss IV & Sydney (Rodriguez) Moss, Apple Valley, CA; Courtney Moss & Matt Blackford, Hesperia, CA; Lisa Gorman & Chris Dmytrasz, Apple Valley, CA; Danielle (Ison) Gibson & Mike Gibson, Hesperia, CA; Eight Great-Grand Children: Dax & Jett Bloomsness, Sadie & Ava Moss, Shayla Gorman & Dane Dmytrasz, Iris & Eleanor Gibson. Sister: Sharon (Corrao) Willenborg, Vacaville, CA; Niece: Karen (Willenborg) Cox, La Habra, CA; Niece & Nephew : Susan (Willenborg) & Joseph Lund, San Anselmo, CA.

Graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 10:00am, Pierce Brother’s Crestlawn Memorial Park. 11500 Arlington Dr, Riverside, CA 92505
