We met Bob and Sister Marie in 1996 at Victorville Victory Outreach.  George and I would go to their home for  bible study,  sister Marie was a prayer warrior .  Pastor Rick and sister Gloria were the pastors there at the time . We learned a lot from thes two Families. At the time we her kids Rick and Cindy she had only 2 kids Sam and Brianna,  and she was pregnant with Candace then came Marie Lil Cindy and Reina. We did get see them in them in their teen years Marie Injoyed every min as they all grew up. She love being social with the homeless. She was a hugger. We did get a chance to meet some family in Riverside. She would always talk about how she loved them. I could go on and on how we became good friends. She would call even just to say let have coffee. I will miss her loving spirt dearly. We love you Marie dance in haven.

I’m already missing you on this Earth, I will never forget how you kept Cindy and I going to church. You are a part of my testimony & you always treated me as family. I helped you and the family as you also helped me. Your in Heaven with Bob and I know you will never be in pain. I love you Mom Marie. I will always remember all you and Bob have done for me to get where I am today.  Fly high with the Angels Rest In Peace  & Live In Paradise

When I met Marie Bob was concern he thought we would be so something to Marie lol Bob after we meet the most loving couple that I grew to love as a spirtual mother and father fiquire and She gave out so much love and bob was so funny also worried for Marie...   Soon after my cousin meet Cindy and they had a beautiful daughters ....My heart is sad for a lost if an angel but I can see her already and she would be like I am so Thank full for my life and I going with Jesus...... Rip We love you so much

R.I.P Marie Everybody is going to miss you so much. I’ll never forget all the car rides and long conversations we have had. I’ll continue to pray and stick together with all the girls And  to make sure we keep Love, Laughter and God in your house. Your memory will live through us forever. Love you Grandma ❤️

Nina was known to so many people in so many ways. I have been fortunate to have been part of her life, as a child until now, although our mother is ninas sister Betty Thompson, nina has always treated us, my brothers and I, as her own.  And she has always been there. I have many, many stories of growing up in Riverside with nino Bobby Romo and nina Marie Romo living down the street. When I was attending Fremont Elementary and there were times when I would go home sick. I was around 12. My mom was at work so I would walk to Nina's. She would make me papas and chorizo burritos and let me watch Andy Griffith. Loved it. Sometimes I would fake being sick just to go to ninas, haha.
I loved and still love this woman more than ever.
I remember when nina worked as a dispatcher for Riverside Sheriff dept. and nino Bobby worked for Riverside Sheriff dept. Robert Presley Detention center. They were awesome role models who loved God. I missed the family so much when they moved, I didnt understand than but I do now. They were following Gods plan for their lives and their family but boy did we miss them.
When we visited nina last Sunday, I reminded her of "Chivita". Chivita was a chiwawa they had a long time ago in Riverside. She went to a room and brought out a picture of Chivita and gave it to me. Just some of many memories nina and I do thank you. Ill give one last memory for now.
She and I spoke, maybe a year or so ago. We were talking about heaven. She knew how much I love to go camping and fishing. I told her, nina, if there's a lake in heaven, Ill be fishing, you could find me by the lake. She said, "I'll be on the grassy hills playing with the children. You see, nina believed in the hope of heaven and shes there now. I will always love you nina and thank you for all that you have done. You showed everyone, never give up, fight for what is right and true. You have instilled many values in your grandkids and they love you dearly.

Grandma was such a beautiful women. Something about her made us all wanna do better and be better, with GOD especially! Whenever around her, you couldn't help but feel loved and cared for. She isnt my Grandma by blood or anything but she took that role on for alot of us. She never made us feel like we couldn't come to her just like any of her other grand children. 
So many memories....

One, I know she appreciated was when me and Candice got her electric scooter in my trunk of my car and took her to the swap meet for the first time since her surgery! The smile on her face was priceless! 

& One Ill never forget is when i first started coming around and she pulled me aside and spoke about God and asked if i was saved. She proceeded to do the sinners prayer with me. Moments like this will forever live with me.

I am really gonna miss spending time during the holidays with the family and hearing her prayers.

I'll miss the times you would call just to tell me good morning. Your warm hugs, your endless love and most of all your prayers that held so much power in them. I love you grandma
