KAREN SUE KIRBY Age 65, passed away October 2, 2012 after a brief battle with cancer. Karen was born to Emile and Doris Ubrun on October 12, 1946 and was a lifelong resident of Riverside. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, William "Mike" Kirby; daughter Alisa (Walter) Young; son Gary (Kerri) Kirby; brother Lester (Teresa) Ubrun; six grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom were very dear to her. The void her passing has left in our hearts is huge, but we will fill it with the love, memories and laughter we shared while we were blessed to have her in our lives. Visitation will be 5-8pm, Mon., Oct. 8 at Acheson & Graham Garden of Prayer, 7944 Magnolia Avenue, Riverside, 92504. Graveside service will be 11:30am, Tues., Oct. 9 at Olivewood Memorial Park, 3300 Central Avenue, Riverside, 92506. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Chapman Convalescent Hospital, 4301 Caroline Court, Riverside, CA 92506 or Chapman Hospice, 6736 Palm Avenue, Riverside, CA 92506.
