Helen Olea Lopez peacefully passed at home in Moreno Valley, Ca. on the morning of May 4, 2020 at the age of 102. Helen was born on March 21, 1918, the oldest of 13 children and spent her childhood growing up in Douglas Az. and Los Angeles, Ca.. In 1950 she married Tom Lopez and they settled in Carson, Ca. to raise their family, and eventually in later life moving to Riverside Ca. to be closer to her family. Her passion was cooking and caring for her family. Among her proudest accomplishments was becoming a Court Interpreter for the Monterey County Ca. court system. She is survived by her son Walter of Riverside Ca., her daughter Sylvia of Moreno Valley Ca. and her 6 grandchildren and 5 Great Grand children all of whom will miss her deeply. She will be laid to rest on May 28, 2020 at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial park in Riverside California.
