Gloria Alicia Nieves

Gloria Alicia Nieves, a radiant soul who brought light and love into the lives of those around her, passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 62. Devoted wife to Anthony Nieves for 38 years, she exemplified the essence of love and partnership. As a mother to two daughters, Rosalynn and Marylynn, and two sons, Anthony and James, she poured boundless affection and guidance into her children, leaving an eternal imprint of love on their hearts.

Gloria was beautiful in every sense, both inside and out. Her passion for cooking infused her home with warmth and delicious aromas, while her green thumb transformed her garden into a sanctuary of vibrant colors and fragrant blooms. Her love extended beyond her family and garden to encompass all animals. She loved dogs and also found particular joy in nurturing her hummingbird garden. She would spend hours mesmerized by enchanting hummingbirds. Watching them flutter and sip nectar from her feeder brought her immeasurable joy and peace.

In addition to being a wonderful mother and wife, she was also a loved daughter of Rosalina and Jose Payan. She was a sister to her brother, Antonio and sisters, Rosario and Angelina. She leaves behind her sisters and extended family, who will deeply feel the void left by her passing. Their cherished memories of her kindness, laughter, and unwavering love will forever remain in their hearts.

Though she may no longer grace this earth with her presence, the beauty of Gloria Alicia's spirit lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her memory will be a source of comfort and strength during this difficult time, and may she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she so freely gave.
