ELEANOR D. SMITH Age 87, resident of Long Beach, CA for 8 years, formerly of Corona for over 40 years, passed away October 15, 2011 due to natural causes. Eleanor was born in Tucson, AZ. She was a housewife for 65 years and was a member of California Assoc. of the Deaf, C.H.A.O. (California Home Aged Deaf), Arcadia, CA, Good Sam's Camping Club for the Deaf and Eastern Star. She enjoyed quilting, stain glass and many other crafts. She loved to go camping with her deaf friends. Eleanor is survived by her son, Raul Jordan and his wife Cecilia; daughters, Terri Smith and her partner Loretta Ferguson and Sue Kesti and her husband Richard; grandchildren, Donna, Billy, Jonathan, Patrick, Carl and Eric; 11 great-grandchildren.
