Bertha Suarez Ortega

BERTHA SUAREZ ORTEGA Beloved wife, mother and grandmother, age 77, passed away on Dec. 14, 2014 at home surrounded by family. She was born on Jan. 9, 1937 in Tucson, AZ and had lived in Riverside, CA for 50 years. She moved to Riverside from Tucson in 1964 after 27 years. She was an Instructional Aide for the Alvord Unified School District and a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Bertha loved her family and many friends. She enjoyed traveling, dining out, crafts, shopping and watching her birds. Bertha is survived by her husband of 57 years, Armando; her daughters Linda and Lisa of Riverside, CA; sons David, Robert and Richard of Riverside, CA; brothers Robert, Vice, and Tony; grandson Vincent; step grandchildren David, Raelene and step great grandchild Isaya. She was preceded in death by siblings Mary, Terry, Eva, Joe, Jesus, Frank and Gilbert. Visitation will be on Monday, Dec. 22 from 5-6 pm with Rosary at 6pm, both at Acheson and Graham Garden of Prayer Mortuary in Riverside, CA. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 11 am at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4824 Jones Ave., Riverside, CA with burial to follow at 1pm at Riverside National Cemetery. The family welcomes flowers or memorial contributions can be made to the Alvord Education Foundation or a Charity of your choice
