Amelia Booth was born Amelia Tramontano in Napoli, Italia on November 27, 1930 to Eugenio and Anna Tramontano. She had 12 brothers and sisters. She came to the United States in 1945 as Mrs Amelia LaChance, and lived most of her life in Fontana, CA. She had 3 children; Tony, Anita, and Irene LaChance. She remarried and had 2 more children; Jeff and David Booth. She had 7 grandchildren; Danielle, A.J., Summer, Jeff, Vanessa, Anthony, and Victoria; 9 great grandchildren; Hailey, Kiley, Carolyn, Emily, Molly, Angelina, Brodie, Landon, and Leila. Amelia was a simple woman and worked her entire life to provide for her children. She worked for 32 years at Peppi's Drive In in Fontana making the best grinders ever! People in Fontana knew her as Millie. Amelia had a strong work ethic, a strong pride in becoming an American Citizen and a strong belief in Catholic Faith. She was proud being an American Citizen and never missed an opportunity to vote. She was a survivor and taught all of her children to be self-sufficient, self-motivating, and strong. Amelia is survived by her brother Guido and sister Nina in Napoli, Italia, her daughter; Irene and sons Jeff and David in California, 6 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She was at peace and passed into Heaven with dignity. Services are as follows: Visitation; Sunday, February 17, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with Rosary at 6:00pm, Funeral Service; Monday, February 18, 2013 at 2:00pm all at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Memorial Park, 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505.
