Adeline Ryan Delgado, age 82, passed away on Saturday, October 1st, 2022. Adeline was born on June 20, 1940, to Martina and Conrado Ramirez in Corona CA. In her youth, Adeline attended Corona Sr. High School at the Civic Center on 6th St. in Corona. She married early and started a family at the age of 18. Her education was still very important to her, and she did complete the requirements of the General Education Development tests to finalize her education from Corona High.
Adeline stayed at home with her young family until it became apparent that she would need to go out into the work force to help supplement her family’s growing needs. She started working at Sunkist Growers in Corona “squeezing lemons” as she called it. She worked with her sister, Angie and her mom. Soon she was promoted to the office staff where she would find her niche. From there Adeline found that working with people was where her strengths would be found.
She moved on to Robertshaw Controls in Norco, then to Advanced Business Graphics in Mira Loma. She was there as receptionist and telephone operator until she retired at age 70. Adeline always enjoyed meeting new people and making sure they were connected to the right party. She was a member of the Grove Community Church in Riverside. She enjoyed the fellowship and hearing the word of God. She prayed constantly and listened intently for answers to her prayers. Sometimes even writing down her most intentional prayers and keeping them in her bible.
Adeline had a love of oil painting, gardening, cooking, and decorating and shared all her talents with her true love, her family. She made every gathering, party, and holiday, more cheerful, beautiful, and meaningful with her gifts of time and talents. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched, but mostly by her loving family.
Adeline was predeceased by her parents, Conrado and Martina Ramirez, her sisters Angie and Aurora, and her brother Joe. She is survived by her brother Gilbert, her daughter, Annette and her son, James. She was a beloved Nana to 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Services for our loved one will be held at a later date.
