It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our cherished aunt, great aunt, sister, and sister-in-law, Cecilia Phan Thị Vì, who was called to her heavenly home on Monday, May 27, 2024 at the age of 96. Her life was a testament to unwavering faith, selfless love, and devoted care, and her presence will be profoundly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Born on December 25,1927 in Hương Trà, Vietnam, Cecilia Phan Thị Vì lived a life rooted in her deep faith and dedication to God. She was a loyal follower of the Lord, embodying the virtues of compassion, kindness, and humility in every aspect of her life. Her spiritual strength was a guiding light for our family, and her prayers were a source of comfort and hope.
Cecilia Phan Thị Vì devoted her life to caring for her family. As an aunt and great aunt, she lovingly nurtured each of us from the time we were babies. She bathed us, fed us, scolded us when necessary, and above all, she loved us unconditionally. Not only were the children her life, but knitting us scarves, sweaters, hats, and little boots was her pastime.
As a sister and sister-in-law, Cecilia Phan Thị Vì was a pillar of strength and support. Her unwavering loyalty and dedication to her siblings and extended family were evident in the countless ways she provided love and care. Her presence at family gatherings brought joy and a sense of unity, and her wisdom guided us through life's challenges.
Cecilia Phan Thị Vì's legacy of faith, love, and service will forever be etched in our hearts. We will miss her gentle smile, her warm hugs, and her wise words of encouragement. Her life was a beautiful example of how to live with grace, humility, and a steadfast commitment to God's will.
She is survived by siblings, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and brother-in-law, and a multitude of other relatives and friends who will always hold her memory dear.
A celebration of Cecilia Phan Thị Vì's life will be held on Monday, June 3rd at 11:00 am at, St. Paul, at 5971 Lakeland Dr, Flowood, MS 39232. The family invites all who knew and loved her to join in honoring her remarkable life and faith.
