

Mrs. Blaine was born in Attala County, Mississippi October 15, 1921 to Earl and Minnie Pace. She lived in the Kosciusko area until she moved with her husband to Jackson in 1949.
She was preceded in death by her husband C. B. Blaine, son Mickey Blaine, parents Earl and Minnie Ryle Pace, sisters Leah Pace Ford and Johnnie Pace Hopkins, brother James Pace.
Mrs. Blaine is survived by her daughter Phyllis Blaine Blackwell (Fred), her granddaughter Mandy Blaine Carmack (Jeremy), great granddaughter Tristin Fortenberry, great grandsons Dalton Miller and Jasper Carmack and one great, great grandson. She also had one niece Pam Hopkins Swanson and four nephews, Charlie Hopkins (deceased), Ronnie Hopkins, Barry Hopkins, and Kenny Hopkins.
She was the ultimate mother and homemaker. Her guidance and love she gave to all who knew her cannot be measured. She was gracious and generous during her lifetime. She loved Jesus and influenced many to follow Him. Her church (Griffith Memorial Baptist) was an important part of her life. She received their love and support during her last days at the Orchard Retirement Center where she had been a resident for 18 years.
The family is grateful for her current caregivers Bessie, Judy, Shirley, Gladys and Barbara and all those who were with her over the last few years.
Memorials can be made to Griffith Memorial Baptist Church or the Children's Hospital at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Services for Tommie are entrusted with Parkway funeral home, graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Lakewood Memorial Park-South, 430 McCluer Rd, Jackson, MS 39212.
