Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 17 at Parkway Funeral Home on Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Mrs. Hudspeth was born in Jackson, MS and graduated from Central High School and Millsaps College. She and her husband, Charles, spent many years in Rolling Fork, MS before returning to Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Durr Hudspeth; her parents, Henry Virgil Allen and Mabel Rhymes Allen and brothers, Henry V. Allen, Jr., William R. Allen, Thomas E. Allen, and Charles R. Allen.
Mrs. Hudspeth is survived by her daughter, Melissa Hudspeth Applewhite (Ron) of Flowood, MS; a son, Charles Allen Hudspeth (Sheila) of Vicksburg, MS; grandsons, Brad Applewhite of Memphis, TN; Breland Applewhite (Kayla) of Oxford, MS; Seth Hudspeth (Beth) of New Orleans, LA; a granddaughter, Laura Hudspeth Marbury (Hatton) of Nashville, TN and two great grandchildren, Axl Applewhite and Ceil Marbury. Mrs. Hudspeth is also survived by a brother, Frank T. Allen of Jackson, MS.
