Danny was born November 28, 1962 in Meridian, MS and was the son of Jeanne and James Tucker of Jackson.
Danny attended Murrah High School and Hinds Community College. He worked in various professions and vocations throughout his life and mastered almost any task he pursued. He was a very smart, talented and charming man who fought convention at almost every turn. Danny also fought many physical ailments throughout his life. Ailments that would have stopped weaker men dead in their tracks. But Danny had the unrelenting spirit of a fighter and he defeated most of those ailments and worked long and hard hours until his body could simply work no more. Danny regularly attended church services at Vertical Church in Madison. The strength of his adventurous, mischievous and Faithful spirit will forever outlast the frailness of his earthly body. And he will hurt no more.
Danny had a heart with no boundaries or prejudice. His heart was open to all and he would give a helping hand to anyone and everyone. He will be remembered by those whose lives he touched as a loving son, father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. He will be missed, fondly remembered and never forgotten.
Danny was preceded in death by his dad, Billy Rainey. He is survived by his parents Jeanne and James Tucker of Jackson; Sons, Kelly Rainey (Helen) and Jamie Rainey; Daughters, Shelby Rainey and Sophie Rainey; Stepson, Ethan Sims; Sister, Lisa Fletcher (Fred); Brother, Chuck Rainey (Meredith); three grandchildren and six nieces and nephews who adore their “Uncle Danny”.
