She was preceded in passing by her three brothers and two sisters. Thelma leaves behind two sons, Donald E. Myers (Debbie), Thomas Myers (Jackie); four grandchildren, Donald, Thomas, Pamella, P.J.; along with eight adored great-grandchildren.
She was a dedicated housewife and mom who enjoyed her husband, children, and extended family who all meant so much to her. Thelma loved to shop and meet new people as well as talk both in person and over the phone for hours sharing life's experiences and adventures. She loved her time as a member and president of Merry Makers.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 18, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
