Sharon Brooks Walker

Sharon Brooks Walker, 76, of Quinton, VA., went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer C. Walker; parents, Raymond and Lorraine Brooks; 1 sister, Donna Deede; 1 brother, Dwight Brooks and is survived by 2 daughters, Kimberly Bartle and Lorri Buckman (Brian); 3 grandchildren, William (Christy) Bartle, Matthew Bartle, Ashby Talley (Richard); 1 great-grandson, Brent; 1 sister Connie Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and her great grandson. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Providence United Methodist Church, 4001 New Kent Highway, Quinton, VA., 23141. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
