PERKINS, Sara Brown, 87, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on July 10, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Covert J. Perkins; four children, Randy Perkins and his wife, Laurie, Rick Perkins, Peggy Perkins Harris and her husband, Rhu, and Sara Beth Perkins Duymich and her husband, Chuck; six grandchildren, Erick, Jaime and Ryan Perkins, Willie and Casey Harris, and Kelly Perkins Mace; eight great-grandchildren, Trent, Jeremy and Adam Mace, Rylee and Carter Ryan Perkins, Carter James Perkins, and Chase and Nolan Perkins; one niece, Cathy Norman; and one nephew, Chris Norman. Mrs. Perkins will be missed by all of those whose lives she touched.
The family will receive friends Monday, July 14, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Welborne United Methodist Church. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
