Ruby Pearl Clarke

Ruby Pearl Clarke, went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Fanny Morris; brother, James Denny Morris “Bubba”; her loving husband of 47 years, William Ross Clarke “Bill”; and a loving grandson, Jacob Aaron Clarke. Ruby is survived by her children, Otis Clarke (Wanda), June Clarke, Patricia Eberhard (Arthur), and Randy Clarke (Judy); four grandchildren, whom she cherished, Melody Regensburg (Chris), Thomas McGlocklin, James D. Eberhard, Avery Patterson; six great-grandchildren, Taylor (Paul), Aubrey, Mackenzie, Brittany, Rylan, and Nevaeh; and one great-great grandchild, Bentley. Ruby also leaves behind many loved nieces and nephews. Our mother loved and cherished her children and grandchildren and loved all unconditionally. She was very devoted to her family. She loved picnics, Sunday and Holiday dinners. Christmas was her favorite time of year because she loved to give of herself. The family will receive friends, Thursday, May 22 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S Laburnum Ave, Richmond, VA 23231; where a service will take place Friday, May 23 at 2 p.m. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park.
