HATLEY, Nancy Marie Smith, 36, after a long and valiant fight with Leukemia, passed safely into our Lord's arms on June 21, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael J. Smith and her step-father, Timothy J. Thomas respectively. Nancy is survived by her husband, Rodney P. Hatley; mother, Marie V. Thomas; brother, Christopher M. Smith; sister, Jody M. Dodd (Steven); and four nephews, Seth Nester, Caleb Davidson, Jackson and Xander Dodd. Nancy's visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231 where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park.
