Mary Ellen Irby Walton

WALTON, Mary Ellen Irby, 63, of Richmond, passed away January 5, 2012. Born to the late Dick and Mary Irby, she is survived by her husband, Terry Walton; brother, Rick Irby and wife, Machele; son, Evan Walton; and niece and nephew, Kathryn and Ricky Irby. She attended Freeman High School and worked for 36 years at Southern Bank, Jefferson National Bank and Wachovia Bank, and volunteered at the Little Sisters of the Poor. The family will receive friends Sunday, January 8, 2012, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., and where a memorial service will be held Monday, January 9, at 2:30 p.m. A reception will follow at Sandra Walton's. No flowers.
