She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl V. Benedetti and Dare K. Benedetti; sisters, Mary M. Benedetti, Betty B. Maher and Sue B. Farkas; and treasured granddaughter, Chante.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 60 years, John W. Carpenter; children, Jeff Carpenter (Laure), Greg Carpenter (Monique) and Jill Dare Carpenter; grandchildren, Brandon, Samantha, Darian, Michel, Taylor and Steven; brothers, Mike Benedetti and Joe Benedetti; niece, Amanda Nester; as well as a host of extended family and dear friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231.
