Howard Harvey

HARVEY, Howard Thurman, 87, of Mechanicsville, departed this life on June 15, 2013. He was the son of the late John F. Harvey and Helen C. Harvey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine K. Harvey. He is survived by his son, Dennis W. Harvey; his grandchildren, Christopher W. Harvey and Elizabeth H. Rosson; four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Pee Wee. He served with the United States Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He worked as a conductor for C&O Railroad for 40 years. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond. Graveside service will be private.
