Faye Greenstreet Williams

Williams, Faye Greenstreet, of Richmond, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. She is survived by her three children, Juanita (Barry) Lynn, Arnold (D.J.) Williams and Wayne (Angie) Williams; eight grandchildren, John, Ashley, Kim, Justin, Zachary, Anna, Caleb and Adam; and three great-grandchildren, Nathan, Bella and Joseph. She grew up in Richmond’s Fan District then moved to Eastern Henrico where she raised her family and became a member of New Bridge Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. She spent her latest and happiest years living at Imperial Plaza where she could be found at various card and bingo games, serving on several committees or playing the piano. A proud MaMa and MeMe, she was happiest with her family. She was one to care for others, often putting their needs before her own. Let us not mourn her death but celebrate her life. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 30 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. Richmond 23231.
