Edwin Logan Dukes

DUKES, Edwin L., 67, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017, in Mechanicsville, Va. He was born in Richmond, Va. to parents, Harry L. and Rae Powell Dukes, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his brother, William Dukes; and his sister, Nancy Brown. Edwin was a former truck driver for A.L. Carter Company. He was an avid sports fan and especially loved NASCAR and football. Family reunions in Georgia were very special to him. The family will receive friends and extended family from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, October 30, at Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Road, Richmond, Va. 23229. His graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 31, at Greenwood Memorial Gardens, 12609 Patterson Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23238.
