Charles I. Thacker, Jr., 78, of Henrico passed away Thursday, December 26, 2013. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles I. Thacker III. Mr. Thacker is survived by his wife, Carrie Thacker; son, Kenny Thacker; daughters, Kim McGuire and Cathy Thacker; eleven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; step-children, Sharon Sharp, Vicki Sharp, Wilbur McNamee, and Michelle Harding; brother, Norman Thacker; sisters, Barbara Gilbert and Janet Houston. A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23231, where a funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
