Carolyn Villari McGahee

Carolyn V. McGahee was born on March 4, 1941 and departed this life on June 14, 2011. She is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Ruth Villari of Boston , MA and daughters Patricia and Joanne Kennedy.

Carolyn is survived by her loving family, Husband of 36 years Marc McGahee, daughter, Kathleen K. Tappen and husband Bob, son William of Richmond, son LTC Christopher K. Kennedy and wife Janet, son Ethan of Ft. Benning Ga. Son David F. Kennedy and wife Essa and daughters Grace and Olivia of Sunrise, Fl.

Carolyn wished to express her thankfulness for the many prayers and kindnesses of her friends and medical team during her journey with multiple myeloma. Especially Dr. Joseph Evers and the staff at the VA Cancer Institute and St. Mary’s Hospital.

A memorial service is planned on June 24, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Richmond . There will be a reception in the Parish Hall immediately following the service.
