Brandy Saunders

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cecil and Margaret Saunders and Annie Mae Kinsler. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tyler Sprouse, 25, Gage Austin, 21 and Kaylee Austin, 17; parents, Cecil D. Saunders (Patsy) and Carol K. Poe; siblings, Traci Sullivan (Terry), Kelly Holloway, Amanda King (Ken) and Tommy Dakin; nieces and nephews, Sean Sullivan, Ryane Ayres (Jonathan), Lori Holloway and Jason Holloway; great-nephews, Patrick Ayres and Jaxson Ayres; great nieces, Emery Johnson and Jule Robinson; extended family members, Teresa Chancellor and Janie Mason and numerous other family and friends.

Brandy loved with all that she had. Her sun rose and set in her children. Brandy never met a stranger nor did she have any enemies, to know her was to love her. She was a lover and protector of animals, she would save them all if she could. Brandy loved the beach and the Chickahominy River. She found peace and tranquility in coloring, enjoyed needlepoint, loved music and loved to laugh. Most of all, Brandy loved her family.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA 23231 where a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday June 5, 2021 at 4 p.m.
